Karolina Juzwa – cultural manager, coordinator of the Wytwornia Foundation in Poland and President of the Europe Jazz Network. She holds a classical music education and a Master’s degree in European Studies from the University of Wrocław.She is the co-curator of the Summer Jazz Academy Festival, held every July and August at the Wytwornia venue in Łódź. Karolina is also the curator and initiator of Intl Jazz Platform, a combination of a festival, professional meeting, and educational programme for young jazz artists that has taken place annually in Łódź since 2013. Since 2021, the platform has expanded internationally, with editions in Oslo (in partnership with Nasjonal Jazzscene and the Norwegian Academy of Music), in Lyon (in cooperation with Le Périscope), and in Amsterdam (in collaboration with Bimhuis).She is also the co-creator and co-leader of the Creative Europe project Better Live, developed with 11 European partners. The project aims to introduce environmental responsibility into the music sector and to foster more sustainable models of international artistic mobility across Europe.
