Alina Bălan is a communications and public relations specialist whose journey in the music industry began during her university years. Passionate about storytelling, music, and writing, she started her career in editorial media at Zile și Nopți, where she conducted interviews with artists and documented both the local and international music scene.
She later became part of the Women in Music Mentorship program, an initiative dedicated to supporting and fostering the professional development of women in the music industry.
For three and a half years, Alina worked as a PR Manager at Global Records, where she developed and implemented communication and promotional strategies for a diverse roster of artists, including Irina Rimes, Minelli, Holy Molly, Erika Isac, Satoshi, and Florian Rus.
She currently leads the communications department at Watermelon Agency, where she develops communication strategies for artists, special projects, and brand collaborations. Alongside her PR work, she remains closely connected to the editorial field, continuing to write and document projects that contribute to the current dynamics of the music industry.
